Please join us for a rich discussion with two survivor focused software entities and two program centered software entities to get a better idea of what specifics they bring to the table. Each facilitator will give an overview of their product, provide short demos, and then answer some questions from the ICADV TA Team Staff. Then, we will open the floor for Q&A.  

We will be joined by survivor-focused OhanaLink Purple and MyPlan as well as program-focused Helpline and iCarol.  

CEO, Kara Wasser, of OhanaLink Purple, will tell us about the first of its kind system that enables agencies to provide services to clients in a new way through traceless safety features, asynchronous communication, and centralized tools all in one convenient app with a private interface.   

Amber Clough, the Program Director of myPlan from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing will walk us through their research-backed app that assists people to get clarity about an abusive partner’s behaviors and get personalized strategies and resources to make difficult safety decisions. myPlan was developed with survivors and advocates to incorporate built-in safety features, is available in English and Spanish, and is free.    

Aaron Young, Solutions Expert from iCarol will be joining to share information about iCarol's all-in-one contact and client management system that also integrates resource and referral, online shift scheduling, volunteer and staff management, and reporting. With roots in social service organizations, iCarol specializes with crisis centers, community action agencies, 211 centers, and more.    

Suchandan Pal, Founder and CEO of the Helpline, will be joining to show the trauma-informed support, capacity building improvements, and all the other key benefits of the Helpline's crisis response software including fast callbacks, real-time call tracking, rural area support, case management, and easy scheduling.
